Component libraries

Unfortunately it is no longer viable for us to continue development and support of the Prof's Components component libraries. The good news is that all the Prof's Components component libraries are now available at drastically reduced prices with full source code. Existing users with only the object code can now also download the source code for free.

The component libraries are available for purchase only under the following conditions:
  • No technical support will be provided. Sales-only queries can still be addressed to sales@profscomponents.com Please do not send any technical queries to this address, as they will not be answered.

  • Each component library comes with the full source code, which means you are free to modify the components as you wish for your own use only. Please see the licensing agreement for further details.

  • The design time code for each component set can be downloaded from the same location as the registered version is downloaded. This means you can port the component libraries to any future version of Delphi or C++Builder if you wish. In most cases this would be as simple as recompiling the packages in the new version of Delphi or C++Builder. Please note that we won't be giving any support for this port process.

  • There are only installs for the versions of Delphi and C++Builder as available on the Prof's Components web site. Each install requires the appropriate version of Delphi or C++Builder installed. This means that you must ensure that you have the correct version of Delphi or C++Builder installed before trying to install the specific Prof's Components component library. We will not be providing assistance in getting a component library installed under a version of Delphi or C++Builder not targeted by the specific component library.

  • Likewise there are only trial installs for the versions of Delphi and C++Builder as available on the Prof's Components web site. Each trial install requires the appropriate version of Delphi or C++Builder installed. Please note that you won't be able to recompile the trial versions, as no source code are provided, and that we won't be providing trial versions for Delphi or C++Builder not targeted by the specific component library.

  • Please note that none of the above points compromises our licensing agreement in any way.
